The Pura Tanah Lot temple was built 13th century by great priest Dang Hyang Nirartha and has been a part of Balinese mythology for centuries. The temple is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. Each of the sea temples was established within eyesight of the next to form a chain along the south-western coast. In addition to Balinese mythology, the temple was significantly influenced by Hinduism. Pura Tanah Lot is the most visited and photographed temple in Bali, especially at sunset when crowds and traffic overwhelm the site.
This is a wonderful combination trip rafting and tanah lot sunset
very easy, family-friendly, river running at certain times of the year (end of March). Can easily be done with young children, were treated for several hours along a beautiful forest laiden Canyon. There are a few hard bumps into the wall because of the nature of the flow of the River, but not too dramatic. After that we visit tanah lot temple, very beautiful views of the sunset and the sea. We and family recommend this program and the best prices for everyone, thank you Bali majesty tour, love Bali…
